Job Details

  • Salary: From $90,000 to $150,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using experience, analysis, and testing
  • Maintain the highest level of training and technical expertise as a Master Certified Technician
  • Ensure vehicles are clean and in excellent condition after service or repairs
  • Complete all required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Support shop efficiency by managing inventory, performing general shop duties, and maintaining safety standards
  • Adhere to all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business goals

Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced automotive service shop with a strong emphasis on teamwork, professionalism, and customer-focused service. Physical stamina and dexterity are necessary to perform mechanical tasks effectively.

Job Requirements:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience at dealer-level or large facility preferred (especially for Master Certified Technicians)
  • Strong automotive mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Certified by National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) preferred
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Professional and dependable work ethic
  • Safety conscious and customer service oriented
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to read and follow instructions accurately
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand for long periods, and lift heavy objects as needed
